"This isn't a car show, it's a gathering of people
from around the country that all have a common interest. The love of their
vehicles and meeting other people with the same interests."

HOT ROD
POWER TOUR History
In 1995 the HOT ROD staff
came up with the idea to take a cross-country road trip with their project
cars, and they invited all of their car buddies and anyone else that
wanted to go along. The first route stretched from Los Angeles to Norwalk,
Ohio, and there were thousands of participants along the way.
